| Peercast is a P2P Internet radio broadcast system. It was
set up to apply the same legal workarounds that P2P filesharing used to
get around new US laws that force Internet streaming radio to pay lisence
fees. It also uses non-proprietary audio encoding format OggVorbis, which
makes it far more wholesome than the 'Real.inc' player / encoder system
which is full of adware and spyware. |
