PHP-Nuke is a content management system / portal similar
in functionality to the slashcode but written in a different language (PHP
instead of Perl). It lets editors decide which story to post on the website
and users can comment on them. Users can register and create their own pages
and journals. It also includes features such as site search, polls, links
and usage statistics. The interface has been translated into several languages,
so no need to stick to English.
Once installed, the maintenance is relatively straight forward and does
not require significant technical skill.
